What is Metabolic Typing™?
Your body’s biochemistry is as unique as your finger prints. Eating right for your needs is the root of health. Metabolic Typing is a highly individualized, scientific methodology to determine what foods each unique individual should eat, when you should eat them, and what proportions to eat. You are unique. This is why one program may work for your friend but not for you. Once you understand how your body best burns and metabolizes food, you regain the power to help your body back into balance and partner with your body's own innate ability to heal itself.

How it Works:
Your metabolism is unique. Cutting-edge research shows that no single diet works well for everyone. Metabolic Typing (MT) establishes which foods are right for YOU and in what proportions. MT works because it is based on biochemical truths applied to each individual based on their inherent genetic strengths and weaknesses coupled with environmental and lifestyle influences. When you eat the right foods for your type in the right proportions, your cells produce optimal energy and remain within their ideal pH range.

What is Involved?
You will be required to complete a detailed on-line questionnaire. The test is evaluated by a sophisticated computer program that generates a 25-page comprehensive report (see details below). The evaluation determines your correct proportions of macronutrients, your dominant system (oxidative or autonomic) and your endocrine type. It also includes advice on essential and optional supplementation.

Coaching
Once you've completed the questionnaire, it is important to meet with your advisor for a results session followed by a number of coaching sessions to help you make the necessary dietary and lifestyle changes to be successful. Metabolic Typing Consultations can be given face to face or by telephone.

Results
Your results will include the following five sections:

Re-evaluation
Your metabolic type is determined by your genetic background and environment. Therefore, as your environment could be changing, it is recommended you re-assess after 3 months and then every 6 months.
